Manhattan area golf courses
The terrain of the Flint Hills region offers superb panoramas to excite both the occasional golfer and hard-core, scratch player. Manhattan features distinctive courses from par-3 executive to the decades-old municipal and country club courses. A licensed PGA course in just its second decade of operation makes four well-rounded courses to play round after round in Manhattan, and a plethora of play-ability from a golfer's approach.

Manhattan Country Club
1531 North 10th St.
MCC golf course
100-year-old course that plays relatively short (6,361 yards) and with tight, tree-lined fairways. Play begins with six consecutive par-4 holes. Practice facilities include driving range, putting green and 36,000 square-foot short game practice area. Always a great experience to play the country club, in the heart of Manhattan just north of Bluemont Hill in the eastern portion of the city.
Stagg Hill Golf Course
4441 Fort Riley Blvd.
Book tee times at Stagg Hill
A municipal course with teeth, this tree-lined course alongside the Kansas River has several challenging holes including one of the few target holes on the course. At the par-5 7th, shot placement on a drive and second shot are paramount to set up a good approach shot at this serpentine fairway. Several doglegs will reel in long hitters, and No. 18 is a classic closing hole with a hard-right dogleg, no bunkers and plenty of trees. Hint-hint: Stay left!
Wildcat Creek Golf & Fitness
Executive course within Anneberg Park, the course stretches beyond 2,100 yards with three par-4 holes and also features a driving range. Wildcat Creek Golf & Fitness Center
