Kicker Country Stampede

June 20-22, 2019

County Stampede music festival approaches 25 sterling years in Manhattan. Next June 20-22 will mark the 24th annual Midwest showcase; Jason Aldean, Old Dominion and Jake Owen are headline acts announced for the three-day festival. Aldean, from Georgia and two-time Entertainer of the Year, makes his second Stampede showing. The OD quintet was ACM New Group of the Year in 2016 and 2018 ACM Vocal Group of the Year. The Nashville-formed band made bold plains performances in 2016 and 2017 and returns to the Gateway to the Flint Hills for a third act in 2019. Get the latest on Old Dominion.

Owen also completes a Flint Hills triumvirate next June with previous appearances in 2013 and 2017. Owen reached top of the charts territory with "American Country Love Song" in 2018. Owen's lead-in performer on Thursday night at Stampede will be country legend Clint Black, who has exceeded 20 million in album sales and charted 22 No. 1 singles ("A Better Man," "Killin Time" and "When I Said I Do"). Black made his lone Stampede appearance 20 years ago in 1999.

Tuttle Creek State Park campgrounds play host to the annual affair, which draws upwards of 100,000 for three afternoons and evenings of top-notch music at the temporary amphitheater near the lake outside Manhattan. Annual trips to Manhattan are rewarded profoundly with three days of country music bliss in Manhattan.
