Sports fans know that Manhattan is the proud home of the K-State Wildcats; but our sports scene has more to offer than Big 12 athletics! 

Each year, Manhattan hosts multiple high school state tournaments, and amateur sanctioned activities. There are plenty of opportunities to participate in club teams, intramurals, or individual sports.

Outdoor Recreation
Surrounding Manhattan is the nine-mile Linear Trail, for walking, biking, or jogging. Konza Prairie provides Flint Hills pathways for the same, and there are public parks all over Manhattan, from small neighborhood areas, to the City Park, which houses sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, a splash park, swimming pool, and more.
