Celebrating 100 Years of History and Heritage: Riley County Historical Museum2016-10-13T08:30:00Centennial celebration exhibit showcases 100-plus artifacts and photographs significant to the history of the Riley County community. Notable objects include a section of original seating from Wareham Opera House, penny-farthing bicycle owned by Guy Varney, hand-carved sunflower clock made from local wood for the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, 1893.
Many objects on view have been rarely exhibited. Centennial exhibition accompanied by series of programs (watch for announcements and check calendar).
