Notable objects include a section of original seating from Wareham Opera House, penny-farthing bicycle owned by Guy Varney, hand-carved sunflower clock made from local wood for the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, 1893.Many objects on view have been rarely exhibited. Enrico Isamu Oyama grew up in Tokyo and has worked in New York since 2011. “Ubiquitous” surveys how Oyama channeled his interests in Tokyo and American street cultures, Western abstract art and Japanese calligraphy to create Quick Turn Structure (QTS), his signature expression. Wide range of creative platforms include painting, digital media, sound and fashion.QTS gives visual form to the mixed-race, multicultural, transnational experiences in today’s world of fluid borders and inter-connectivity.

The Old Chisholm Trail helped shape popular culture and altered visions of the American West. To celebrate the Chisholm Trail's 150th anniversary, Symphony in the Flint Hills partners with Flint Hills Design and Lost Trail Soda to create "The Chisholm Trail: Driving the American West" traveling exhibit. This original exhibit invites visitors to explore the Chisholm Trail from its 1860s inception. Exhibit highlights include an interactive musical exploration of the scores of verses to the cowboy song, "The Old Chisholm Trail," video and audio clips of movies and songs that reference the Chisholm Trail, and several artistically rendered, life-size longhorn cattle.

In her sculpture, Sayaka Ganz uses reclaimed plastic objects such as discarded utensils as a painter uses brush strokes. Ganz describes her style as “3D impressionism," as the recycled objects appear unified at a distance but at close proximity, individual objects are discernable. Ganz was born in Japan and grew up in Japan, Brazil and Hong Kong. She holds a master of fine arts degree in sculpture from Bowling Green State University.
