2019 race date:
May 25

Dawn breaks, as runners gather near Exit 313 off Interstate 70 among the Flint Hills of north-central Kansas; this stretch of road is called Bill Snyder Highway. One-thousand-plus half-marathoners take off for 7 limbering miles, the last half mostly downhill to reach the Kansas River, then through historic Downtown Manhattan on Poyntz Avenue.

A partial lap around City Park, giving a quick nod to Johnny Kaw sends runners onward through Aggieville. Once they reach K-State's breathtaking campus, glide past stately old Memorial Stadium and the venerated Mike Ahearn Field House, runners have started for the final stretch.

For the first time in 2019, runners will descend the northeast ramp and onto the field at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. This race in 2019 marks the fifth annual, as the Bill Snyder Highway half-marathon continues to grow and attract runners from areas around the Midwest.

Join the fun, and spend the weekend preceding Memorial Day weekend in the Land of Manhappiness!
